As we commonly do here at Tennessee Horror News. We were searching through Kickstarter for the next film to garner our support and we came across a interesting concept for a horror film being made by 3 college film makers called MurMur. Let's help them achieve their goal and here's what they would like everyone to know about the film.
Conner Breedlove, Taylor Cleek, and Nick Muhlbac are three Cleveland student filmmakers setting out to make their first short film, MURMUR. MURMUR is a horror film that avoids horror tropes and clichés. It is about the lengths people will go to hold on to someone or something they love. It takes place a year after the tragic loss of a child and centers on the two parents left behind: Carol, played by Cleveland actress Julie Temple, who's been guided toward the path of acceptance through therapy, and Ryan; played by Cleveland actor John Maslowski, a loving father whose balance in life has been disrupted by death. Ryan's descent is only made worse once he's convinced that he may be able to communicate with his daughter from the other side. Carol is reasonably concerned, and the pair may never return from the strain this development puts on their marriage. We ask the question; How far would you be willing to go to bring a loved one back . The twist is we are funding it using our own money and money we raise from our Kickstarter campaign. So far we have raised $315 towards our $8,500 goal. We plan on shooting just a few days after the campaign ends on Feb. 23rd 2016. We have everything we need except equipment. The funds we raise from the campaign will go strictly to equipment. This is more than just a grade and a passion project for us, we love films and filmmaking and plan on doing this for the rest of our lives. We believe strongly in this story and cannot wait to share it with the world. MURMUR truly is a very different and original horror film and unlike anything that's flooded the horror market.
